Special land owner
support under EQIP:
If a forest landowner has signed up for NRCS
prescribed burning support
and is willing to receive training to become a Certified Burn
Manager
the landowner may be eligible to “sign up” to receive a one-time payment
of $375
upon providing proof of
certification. This is a grant to cover registration, transportation
and
lodging during the course. Detailed information may be obtained
from county NRCS offices.
